„* Die in der Beständigkeitsliste dargestellten Bewertungen sind an Normprobekörpern nach genormten Prüfverfahren unter Laborbedingungen ermittelt worden oder basieren auf langjährigen Erfahrungen. Vergleiche mit Ergebnissen aus der Praxis an fertigen Produkten, z.B. an O-Ringen, führen durch Unterschiede in Geometrie, Rahmenbedingungen und Fertigungsverfahren zu abweichenden Ergebnissen, die jedoch nicht im Widerspruch zu den Bewertungen in der Beständigkeitsliste stehen müssen. Es obliegt dem Anwender, vor Verwendung des Produktes selbst zu prüfen, ob es sich für den Anwendungszweck eignet.“
„Die hier angegebenen Bewertungen sind nicht allgemein verbindlich. Im Zweifelsfall sollte ein Beständigkeitstest durchgeführt werden. Die Bewertungen der Elastomerbeständigkeit gegen Lebensmittel beziehen sich ausschließlich auf die Beständigkeit des Elastomers und nicht auf Lebensmittelverträglichkeiten oder etwaige Lebensmittelfreigaben.“
